New York City’s multi-cultural blend of rhythms –hip-hop, soul, reggae, rock, soca, salsa, and R&B - has inspired many artist to make their way to the musical mecca for inspiration. Cultural Bastards production duo Fred Rosser and Aaron Burrison, didn’t have to travel far to submerge themselves in The Big Apple’s musical menageries. “Growing up in the Bronx, we could hear the beat of the world right outside our apartments,” shares Fred Rosser. “It fine-tuned our ears and inspired us to blend classic with contemporary, jazz with hip-hop, reggae with salsa, and soca with symphony,”.
